What happens after the snagging survey?

After the snagging survey our inspector will talk to you about the inspection and explain any major defects or any concerning issues they have found during the inspection.

Then the inspector will work on perfecting your snagging report and deliver your reports within 24 hours of the invoice being paid.

When is the best time to get a snagging survey?

The best time to get a snagging survey done is as soon as possible after you have received the keys. If a snagging survey is done before you have completed and received the keys then the inspection will be a Pre Completion Inspection in-line with the New Homes Quality Code (NHQC) from the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB). This type of inspection is more limited to what we can report on.

What makes you different from other snagging companies?

Report one is your defect reports, this report highlights all the defects our inspectors have found during the inspection. This is the report you pass on to your builder.

The second report is your snagging inspection report. This report not only shows you all the defects in your home, but also highlights all the checks we did on the key elements of your home. This gives you that peace of mind that your home is well built.

Why are you more expensive than other snagging companies?

The inspectors we use on North East snagging are very experienced and don’t come cheap. We have found that to hire the best inspectors then we have to pay more. Also, all our prices are inclusive of VAT.
